Hotel Public Space Design Finalist
Wanda Hotel Design Institute
Wanda Vista Chongqing
All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
The interior design of the hotel is inspired by the memory of Chongqing. While respecting the aesthetic foundation of Chinese construction order and symmetry, the design, with column-and-tie construction of stilted building with extremely ethnic characteristics and a mountain city as the prototype, gets the shape of folded layers for the architectural structure, with folk musical instruments of Bashu characteristics and Shu embroidery as decorative elements. The design aims to create a low-key luxury space, giving people a special experience at Wanda Vista Chongqing.
