Wimbledon Common Duplex

An open plan living space was the springboard for the complete redesign of this 2100 sq ft Duplex apartment with spacious rooms close to Wimbledon Common. The brief asked Clare Gaskin Interiors to deliver a practical, workable and colourful scheme. Gaining greater understanding of how the client lived, they re-configured the floorplans throughout, ensuring that the client’s needs were met whilst being sensitive to the architecture of the building. Bespoke joinery was used to satisfy particular requirements and overcome challenging aspects of the property. Everything was decorated and furnished with an emphasis on colour and pattern, integrating existing antique pieces with the contemporary. Their role was to re-create and interpret so that the apartment is a better reflection of their client and a home they have come to love.
