Vibrant Living Room

Bayswater Interiors worked with the client to transform their dated family home in to a more contemporary space. The living room was just one area which needed an overhaul, and the brief was to create a room where the family could come together, but that could also be used as a working or reading space.

Bayswater Interiors zoned the space to ensure all functions could be accommodated with some custom joinery, creating areas to display photographs, ceramics and books, with dark cabinetry ensuring that the television did not overly dominate. The deep blue walls were the perfect foil for beautiful patterned fabrics and were balanced with wooden floors and a neutral rug to add texture. The result is a striking but cosy room that is now used everyday by the family.
