CHIL Interior Design was commissioned to design The Wilde in The Dorian, Autograph Collection. Inspired by Oscar Wilde’s unique societal perspective, progressive style, and love for the good life, the fine dining restaurant features whimsical and playful design elements. The juxtaposition of modern and old English elements pays homage to Calgary’s identity while reflecting Wilde’s era. The space embraces a blend of a saturated palette and brass elements. Through layered textures and patterns, the design tells the story of Wilde’s contemporary presence.
