The Oak House Restaurant & Bar

The Interior Design Practice designed a newly defined, modern restaurant to mark the 20-year anniversary of Moddershall Oaks Health & Spa.

Re-imaging the interior and taking inspiration from its natural and organic surroundings formed an essential part of the design thinking.

Re-planning the restaurant interior created the opportunity to provide flexibility whilst maximising the use of the space. Casual dining, booth seating and bespoke banquet seating enhanced the capability of the restaurant as well as providing a welcoming atmosphere.

Connecting the natural textures of wall and floor finishes with luxurious velvets gave the perfect balance between the transition from day to evening dining.

Water, ripples, reflection, flight and natural textures inspired a number of organic forms. Bespoke timber screens, lighting installations and a soft planting scheme connected by a natural palate of colour formed the concept and provided a warm, and luxurious dining experience.
