The Lake House

The Lake House is a beautiful lakeside home, tucked away on a stunning private estate in a rural corner of Hertfordshire. The owner required the property to be fully refurbished and modernised, to achieve the perfect family home that is luxurious, yet practical in style.

Alexander James Interiors were chosen by the client to carry out a full interior architectural design and specification service as well as complete interior design of their family home.

The project began by completely redesigning the internal layout of the property, optimising the flow of space and ensuring that each room of the home could be fully utilised and enjoyed by the owner.

Once the interior architectural design and specification was complete, the Alexander James interior design team designed and supplied all decoration and furnishing of the property, creating a warm interior that is as comfortable as it is glamorous.
