The OCAT Art Museum—Wang Zhou is a demonstration project of cultural tourism integration built by OCT Group, it strives to integrate multiple resources, presenting Chinese contemporary art on par with international and supporting cultural exchange projects. Drawing from the local culture of Xi Xian Fengdong, YuQiang & Partners designed the pilot area of Wang Zhou and the OCAT Xi’an Pavilion.

The building covers an area of 2,875 square meters, with a multifunctional hall on the first floor and the exhibition space of the OCAT Xi’an Pavilion on the second floor.

In the three-dimensional structure of changing shadows, reality and imagination come together. YuQiang & Partners interprets a quiet and powerful domain with pure space and awakened aesthetics in the division of neo-modernism. When light slowly dips into the OCAT Wang Zhou & Culture Center in Xi’an, it will reflect a continuously growing art container, a modern art museum rooted in the order of civilization.
