An architecturally designed residence located in rural New Zealand, with a strong injection of personality and modernity. The client called for a kitchen that would blend harmoniously with a countryside setting, along with crisp, unfussy styling to match the home. To honour the brief, Cube Dentro designed the space with premium materials and a pared-back colour palette – taking its cues from the rich, rural shades surrounding the home. The design also had to partner rather than clash with a striking, oversized barn door. A penchant for strong vertical lines on the exterior of the home saw Cube Dentro mirror this detailing and incorporate it within the cabinetry. The result is a generous workspace that connects with the overall aesthetic of the home and provides the homeowners with an indulgent, yet highly practical workspace.
