Juice Salon Spa – Mirdif City Centre

XBD Collective designed this 176-square-metre salon located in Mirdif City Centre, Dubai, for the UAE launch of a famous salon chain originally hailing from India. XBD were asked to create a modern, vibrant space incorporating greenery and a sufficient amount of stylish retail shelving. The design was to be modern yet exuberant, and the colour scheme to be neutral with an organic palette as the furniture and joinery were to be the main focal points. The material palette consisted of wood, champagne gold metal, matte black metal, Vietnam white marble, grey and bronze mirror. The layout was mainly determined by functionality and was to include eight hair styling and three hairwashing stations, five manicure/pedicure stations, two nail stations, four beauty rooms and one Moroccan bath with a main focus on privacy in order to cater to the local market in the UAE.
