Grand Lisboa Palace Resort, Macau

Crosstec was appointed as the sole designer of the central dome located in the Jardim Secreto gardens of Grand Lisboa Palace Resort.

The atrium space is 30 meters in diameter and over 50 meters in height, creating a new jewel in the Palace.

The design elements showcase Europe’s Neoclassicism and Baroque interwoven with Macau-Portuguese motifs. The double fluted marble columns with gold leaf capitals and gold glitter spandrels support the stained-glass dome ceiling above. They are erected across the first floor with theatre-a-like balconies looking over the game area below, the void. The second-floor colonnade where the local Macau-Portuguese building façade windows embrace the concourse setting, offers grand vibes to the guests of the casino and the hotels.
