Hayloft space is not only a friendly dwelling for the family and friends, it’s a mix of a restaurant, experimental kitchen, bar counter, art exhibit, show-room and DJ-place. Initially the object was a non-residential building designed for commercial real-estate with no heat insulation, no utility systems, no energy saving solutions and lack of balconies. Despite the above mentioned, it’s a huge inner space with facilities and gorgeous riverbank within walking distance which became the determining factor of creating a dwelling space.
The concept is a timeless interior, that can be inherited. Individuality, handmade, open space, natural materials, new technologies and respect for nature – this is the message. It is a mixture of modern design, fine art, antiques. It tells a story about travel and accumulated knowledge. Hayloft is the name of the architects’ living space project: their passion for architecture, respect for traditions, modern technologies, experiments with textures and colour, as well as appreciation of family and its values.
