High Pines is a sprawling mock Tudor residence that occupies a coveted plot on the outskirts of Wentworth Estate in Virginia Water, Surrey. The clients moved into the property as part of a wider downsizing exercise and requested the professional touch when updating the interior. High Pines was ushered into the present day by Knights of Beaconsfield – a luxury home decor and furnishing specialist. It has its own exclusive range of bespoke products that are handmade in the UK, as well as enjoying advantageous relationships with the world’s leading interior suppliers. The project at High Pines took 12 months from start to finish, working across an initial area of 2,000sq ft – increasing to 2,500sq ft once renovations of the kitchen/family/breakfast room were complete. The overarching brief was to create a ‘classic contemporary’ design scheme that complemented the property’s integral character.
