CHIL Interior Design (the hospitality studio of B+H Architects) designed the exclusive, standalone Ridgeline Cabins at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Canada to embody both the quiet luxury and quintessential cabin atmosphere the hotel is known for. The design maintained the original 1928 log exterior, and utilised a colour palette of deep greens, caramel tones, and bronze accents that was inspired by the surrounding landscape. A modern take on traditional plaids, rich textures and natural materials provide warmth & comfort throughout the year. Wood ceiling beams, custom millwork and exposing logs at the open dining and living area bring the cabin harmony with its original exterior. Taken together, this creates a space where guests can truly enjoy the pampering mountain lifestyle the hotel is known for, thanks to a balance of the contemporary and the classic that creates restful and luxurious dwellings for family gatherings and romantic getaways alike.
