Nicola Burt Interior Design was enlisted to overhaul a dark and poky ensuite which the client hated and never used.

Planned with precision to ensure every inch of the space was maximised, we got rid of the beige tiles covering every surface, the tiny quadrant shower, and dated sanitaryware.

Instead we installed the largest shower we could, with an inward-opening door so no space was lost. A slim and smart vanity unit sits beside a wall-hung pan and concealed cistern for a clean finish. Above this sits a wide mirrored wall cabinet with touch LED lighting, reflecting the rooflight and flooding the space with space and sunlight.

Walls and floor are tiled in a large hexagon Seville Persian Blue pattern, bringing an eclectic feel to the space and adding interest. Guess what? It’s now the client’s favourite bathroom!
