Elsyng House, part of Oakland Care is a new purpose-built care home providing residential, nursing, memory and respite care within the village of Forty Hill in the London Borough of Enfield,

Interior design inspiration was taken from the locality and Forty Hall, a Grade 1 listed Jacobean Manor House only a stone’s throw away from the care home. Within the grounds of the Manor House is the site of the former Tudor Elsyng Palace, which has given the care home its unique name.

With its distinctive styling, sympathetic architecture, and use of reclaimed materials, the home looks established within the conservation area.

Over an 18-month period and in collaboration with speciality craftsmen, suppliers and fabricators, the interior design and fit-out was developed within a key framework to provide a safe, enabling and engaging environment for the future residents of this development and the care teams who would be supporting them.
