30 Hudson Yards is the second-tallest office building in New York and home to Edge, the highest outdoor observation deck in the city. Starting from the dedicated queuing area on level 4, Edge takes visitors on an experiential journey that celebrates the thrill of transformation. This is not a static or passive experience, but rather one that places visitors in the centre of the story of New York City. The traditional queuing line was been re-imagined by LAB at Rockwell Group, which developed an immersive history of Hudson Yards in four interactive zones. Thrills escalate, terminating in the ride up and the views from Edge. As visitors ascend to level 100 where Edge is located, they experience a breathtaking view and have the opportunity to visit a cantilevered outdoor deck (designed by KPF) with a glass floor and dramatic outdoor bleacher stairs by Rockwell Group.
