Michael Groth was commissioned to design the interiors of Donna, a worker-owned restaurant and cocktail bar cooperative in the heart of New York City’s West Village neighborhood. The overarching goal of Donna’s design was to echo the property’s uniquely democratic business model via collaborations with other worker-owned cooperatives, circular methodology practices, and design elements that emphasize sustainability and human health.
