This kitchen for the clients’ new residence, was to complement and fit perfectly in a unified, cohesive and elegant manner within the carefully thought out interiors.

The main feature for the Eggersmann German kitchen was to be the island. The focus on organic materials allowed this to be viewed and seen from all angles while retaining the ergonomics and aesthetics of the overall scheme. Hand-picked natural stone was selected for the island creating a sense of balance, symmetry and harmony. Complimented by rough sawn timber veneer for the cabinetry; the material selection allowed the organic nature to come through, adding drama and a marriage of elements that blend cohesively into the space.

An asymmetrical back wall of cabinetry was designed to further detail the uniqueness of nature and the way it grows organically. Harmony, warmth and shape are what German Kitchens had achieved with this design.
