This prestigious 5,000 square foot stucco-fronted Victorian property in St John’s Wood has been completely refurbished to allow for an elegant yet functional home with generous entertaining spaces, guest accommodation and excellent storage. Several layouts were prepared that took into consideration the client’s brief for a comfortable home with a stunning impact suitable for both grand and intimate entertaining.

As the previous renovation was carried out more than a decade before, careful consideration was also given to the products specified for quality and durability and overall aesthetics. Wallpapers and grass cloths add layering and texture, and warm bronze and antique brass metals are used as inlays to the bespoke furniture to add a sense of warmth against the grey palette. Fabrics specified favoured texture over pattern to add a sophisticated, yet homely feel, and warmer lighting was used to enhance the overall scheme.
