Set along the coastline of La Jolla, this residence reimagines a modest beach house as a serene retreat defined by light, materiality, and atmosphere. Designed by Daniel Joseph Chenin, the interiors unfold around a central courtyard, where warm oak millwork, sculpted natural stone, and carefully framed ocean views create a quiet dialogue between architecture and landscape. A restrained palette, bespoke detailing, and abundant natural light establish a timeless coastal sanctuary of understated luxury, craftsmanship, and comfort.
