Elicyon was commissioned to design and furnish a 16,835 sq ft private villa in Umm Al Sheif, Dubai, for a multi-generational Emirati family. Set across four levels, the eight-bedroom residence brings together formal entertaining spaces, family living areas, guest suites, a cinema, gym, treatment room, salon and pool. Elicyon softened the villa’s contemporary architecture with bespoke joinery, specialist plasterwork, hand-embroidered wallcoverings, marble, mother-of-pearl, glass, porcelain and crafted timber. The result is a refined and harmonious family home that balances grandeur with intimacy, blending international artistry with British and local craftsmanship.
