Two rooms within a Northumbrian seaside residence reinterpret the coastal landscape through an abstract, material-led lens. One draws on sea coal and petrified forest through rhythmic surfaces, charred timber and reflective light play; the other evokes dunes and tidal pools with softer textures and fluid forms. Together, they create a sensory, place-rooted narrative without literal reference.
