HLM Architects was appointed by Laing O’Rourke to deliver the fit-out of the new Wetherby School and community theatre within Emberton House, part of the Olympia London regeneration.

Commissioned from RIBA Stage 3, the project followed a base-build by SPPARC and accommodates up to 450 students. The scheme includes a community theatre, strengthening links between education and local culture. 

Emberton House repurposes the former Olympia Garage into a contemporary, multi-level building integrating school and hotel uses behind retained historic fabric. Designed using DFMA principles, HLM’s work creates a premium co-educational facility that fosters creativity, social connection, and world-class learning environments.
