Jiangchuan Road Primary School’s North Campus underwent a thoughtful renewal by LINEWORKS, transforming aging, disconnected public spaces into a cohesive, culturally rich environment. Guided by the school’s “New Basic Education” philosophy and “Sailing Culture,” the design reimagined the foyer, and corridors through fluid forms, blue thematic accents, and adaptive reuse. Walls became storytelling surfaces, lighting softened oppressive ceilings, and flexible furniture revitalized the canteen—all on a modest budget. The result is a vibrant, child-centered campus where space actively supports learning, identity, and community.
