Pippa Paton Design was commissioned to design a large kitchen in a new extension of an 18th-century Georgian farmhouse capable of meeting daily family requirements and hosting large family gatherings. The design of this statement kitchen was inspired by traditional farmhouse kitchens and layered with more contemporary detailing and features. The scale of the space, together with standout features such as the pair of slate-topped islands, reverse-reeded cabinetry, glass-fronted display cabinets set into plastered walls, and oversized lighting, has resulted in a truly stunning space, yet practical and welcoming.
