Mairead & Co Interiors was commissioned to design the full interior scheme for a listed Bristol farmhouse kitchen, for clients with an established relationship with the studio.

Having previously worked together on their holiday home, The Papered House, the clients wanted the same relaxed, considered sensibility brought into their family home. Signature details - reeded cabinetry, Corston antique brass hardware, white worktop - carry quietly between the two spaces.

Rather than correcting the listed building's lower ceilings and smaller windows, the design leans into them. Layered colour, rich texture and considered lighting create a kitchen that feels atmospheric, intentional, and entirely lived-in.
