LW Design was commissioned to refurbish the Presidential and Superior Suites at The Table Bay Hotel in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, reimagining the guest experience through a contemporary lens while honouring the hotel’s longstanding identity. Inspired by Cape Town’s harbour history and the relationship between mountain and sea, the suites are shaped by layered materiality, soft tonal palettes and a quietly luxurious atmosphere rooted in modern coastal elegance. Existing decorative marble and parquet flooring were carefully retained and refurbished, preserving a sense of continuity with the heritage of the property.
