Indian Hotels Company Limited commissioned the transformation of an historic Grandhotel into the Taj Hessischer Hof Frankfurt, continental Europe’s first Taj property. Aimed at trade fair visitors, politicians, business leaders and locals, the concept translates the Taj brand’s hospitality ethos into a European context through interiors focussed on guests’ comfort. Across 126 guest rooms and suites, the designers fused Indian vibrancy with European refinement through rich palettes, intricate patterns and restored architectural features. The result is a layered, sensory environment that reflects Frankfurt’s multicultural vibe and emerging identity as a destination for the arts, not just business and finance.
