Dresden, Germany
All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
Schwarzmeier Interiors transformed a 19th-century timber-framed house into a vibrant, sustainable home that celebrates both history and individuality. Designed by interior architect and owner Antonia Schwarzmeier, the project combines original structure with contemporary open-plan living, natural materials and custom-made furnishings. Every detail – from hand-applied clay plaster to curated vintage pieces – reflects a personal yet professional design approach. Colour, texture and craftsmanship define the atmosphere, while smart and sustainable construction methods ensure long-term functionality. The result is a highly personal, award-worthy reinterpretation of rural heritage: emotionally resonant, architecturally precise and deeply rooted in its historic context.
