Burro, a new restaurant by chef-owner Conor Gadd, with interiors by Day Studio. Designed for longevity rather than spectacle, the project delivers a warm, confident dining space that balances generosity with restraint. The interior supports a range of dining rituals, from solo guests at the bar to larger gatherings, while maintaining intimacy and calm within a high-energy setting. A restrained palette of worn oak, aged brass, soft yellow tones and tactile textiles creates depth and character, chosen to age gracefully over time. Burro demonstrates how thoughtful spatial planning and durable materiality can create a contemporary restaurant designed to endure.
