Salty Jim Villa is a distinctive residential project in Bali that reimagines traditional Indonesian architecture through a contemporary, narrative-driven approach. Built from a reclaimed wooden structure relocated from Canggu, the villa combines heritage craftsmanship with bold modern elements. The design is inspired by a fictional character - a legendary big-wave surfer - whose story is expressed through raw materials, concrete surfaces, and curated surf artifacts from iconic global locations. With expansive living spaces, a strong connection to nature, and a focus on sustainable materials, the villa offers a unique experiential environment that merges storytelling, design innovation, and tropical living.
