All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
Rising above Fort Lauderdale’s waterways, Pier Sixty-Six is anchored by its iconic spire-tower and organized around a vibrant marina. The lobby serves as a dynamic arrival space, with sweeping curves, floor-to-ceiling windows, and rippling ceilings that evoke surrounding water. A sculptural grand staircase links the lobby to pools and amenity spaces, its oak and marble form illuminated to create movement and elegance. Prefunction galleries and ballrooms extend naturally from the lobby, with wave-inspired carpets and coastal palettes reinforcing a sense of place. Together, these elements create a cohesive resort experience, blending mid-century heritage with contemporary luxury.
