Knebworth Kitchens was commissioned to redesign a recently installed, poorly planned family kitchen in Welwyn, Hertfordshire. The studio transformed the dark, impractical space into a warm, social hub using Reed green shaker cabinetry, brass hardware and Carrara‑effect quartz worktops. A new peninsula with vented hob creates a generous working triangle and allows the cook to face guests, while layered Sensio lighting and John Lewis pendants brighten the previously gloomy room. Walnut detailing, Baltic Limed Oak LVT flooring and a brick‑slip TV wall introduce tactile warmth, with a bespoke breakfast nook and three‑oven run tailored to the clients’ daily routines.
