GroundedDesign was commissioned to transform a villa in Jumeirah Golf Estates into a modern farmhouse family home informed by the clients’ South African heritage. The studio reimagined a previously dark villa as an open and spacious home, introducing a double-height entrance, a light-filled glass atrium and a braai room at the heart of the plan. Natural materials, grounded neutral tones, bespoke furniture and full landscaping complete a warm and inviting home designed for family life, entertaining and a strong connection between the interior and landscape.
