Sherwood Design was commissioned to transform a contemporary residence into a richly layered family home inspired by European transitional design. The project balanced timeless detailing with contemporary refinement, incorporating bespoke joinery, custom furniture and architectural interventions throughout the kitchen, living spaces and private retreat areas. Natural Viola stone, ebony-stained timber finishes and tactile textiles introduced warmth, depth and atmosphere, while custom panelling and a hand-carved fireplace feature created a strong sense of character and permanence. Designed to feel elegant yet highly liveable, the residence reflects the clients’ appreciation for art, craftsmanship and understated luxury.
