Sherwood Design was commissioned to transform the kitchen and adjoining scullery within a contemporary family residence into a refined and highly functional entertaining space inspired by European transitional design. Dark-stained oak cabinetry, expressive natural Viola stone and bespoke detailing were used to create a kitchen that feels both sculptural and deeply liveable. Integrated appliances, concealed preparation zones and tailored storage solutions ensured the spaces remained calm, refined and highly functional for modern family living. Architectural detailing, layered materiality and custom joinery introduced warmth, permanence and sophistication, resulting in a timeless kitchen environment that balances understated luxury with everyday practicality.
