An Arts & Crafts house in Surrey, long neglected as a rental property, has been given back its soul. Susan Venn transformed the tired interior into a home full of colour, warmth and personality, designed around the family who live there. The ground floor was opened up to create a generous flowing space where teenagers watch sport at the island and evenings shift effortlessly into entertaining. Upstairs, a serene master suite was designed around the need for genuine rest. Bespoke joinery, natural fibres and heritage details combine to create something bold, timeless and built around the people who call it home.
