KTM Design transformed an existing building through a complete change of use and refurbishment to create Dentistry @ Holme, a four-surgery dental practice inspired by the restorative qualities of spa and wellness environments. More reminiscent of a boutique Mediterranean retreat than a traditional healthcare setting, the practice combines biophilic influences, tactile materials and a calming palette to reduce anxiety and prioritise emotional wellbeing. Rather than a conventional waiting room, patients retreat into a more intimate and discreet space designed to put them at ease before treatment. The result is a reassuring, design-led environment that redefines expectations of the modern dental experience.
