Natalie Du Bois of Du Bois Design was commissioned to create the complete interior of The Next Chapter, a rural Te Arai home designed for retirement, family life and connection to the landscape. The interior balances intimate daily living with generous spaces for children, grandchildren and friends. A contemporary interpretation of villa living is expressed through warmth, proportion, materiality and crafted detail. Distinctive kitchens, living spaces, bedrooms, five bathrooms and utility rooms are connected through recurring angles, timber planes, layered texture and controlled light, creating a practical, personal and enduring home with moments of discovery throughout.
