Natalie Du Bois of Du Bois Design was commissioned to create No Stone Unturned, a sculptural kitchen for a rural forever home overlooking landscape and distant sea. Designed to support everyday life and large family gatherings, the kitchen combines extensive functionality with a calm architectural presence. A patterned quartzite island, selected for its connection to the colours of the land and sea, anchors the space beneath a skylight. Its angled ends respond to slab limitations and the home’s geometry. A 13-metre timber cabinetry wall integrates appliances, storage and scullery access, allowing the kitchen to remain visually composed, practical and enduring.
