Tonik Associates were appointed as the Interior Designers for ‘The Kensington Hideaway’ boutique hotel project, situated in Kensington. The ambition was to reposition the former 3-star Seraphine Hotel as a refined 4-star hotel that would feel characterful and closely connected to its local surroundings.

The conceptual theme is literature - connecting to who once lived and worked in the area—writers, poets, and creatives whose stories form part of Kensington’s identity.

Hotels themselves are places of storytelling—where memories are created and nostalgia is lived. These stories may be centuries old, yet continue to evolve, with each guest adding a new chapter.
