Hana No Kumo
Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China
All project descriptions are provided by SBID Awards entrants.
Set within the fluid forms of The Henderson, a visionary Hong Kong’s landmark by Zaha Hadid Architects, Hana no Kumo offers exquisite kappou cuisine amid traditional Japanese aesthetics that capture the serene essence of Kyoto’s cherry blossom seasons. Inspired by the delicate grace of Sakura blooms, the space reflects nature’s transience; organic forms intertwine with warm wood tones, embracing the imperfect beauty of Wabi-sabi. Custom-built ethereal canopy adorned with washi paper-textured petals and dynamic lighting evoke the beauty of blossoming flowers, while crystal-clear glass rock textures add depth, harmonising nature and design.
