A 1970s Edinburgh flat, completely reimagined by Stuart Dawson Interiors, working alongside Spurthi Gangatkar. A dividing wall was removed, uniting kitchen, dining and living into one flowing open-plan space. Bespoke ceiling-height oak joinery anchors the living room, a hand-painted abstract mural defines the dining area, and heavyweight linen curtains run floor to ceiling throughout. A gold-and-neutral palette, natural materials and layered lighting thread through every room. Two bedrooms of quiet luxury complete the picture. The result is a space that feels nothing like where you came from, and everything like where you want to be.
