Elkus Manfredi Architects was commissioned by Boston Development Group and The Davis Companies to design 66 Galen Street, a forward-thinking life science workplace in Watertown, Massachusetts. The project reimagines the laboratory office as a connected, human-centered environment, where architecture, landscape, and interior design converge. Defined by sculptural forms, natural materials, and light-filled spaces, the design prioritizes wellbeing, flexibility, and interaction. A dynamic central lobby and layered indoor-outdoor experiences foster collaboration and moments of pause. By blurring the boundaries between workplace and social space, 66 Galen Street establishes a new design language for innovation-driven environments.
