A Mandala Made Habitable
Kathmandu, every street corner carries a story—carved into timber, cast in brass, woven into prayer. ASC Interior designed Dusit Princess Kathmandu to begin that story before guests step outside. Each public space is assigned one of the five Dhyani Buddhas—a color, an element, a meaning. Hand-carved Newar columns and a lacquer-red feature wall anchor the lobby. The Soi pulses with Amoghasiddhi green—carved brackets, cascading greenery, a courtyard reimagined for dining. The ballroom rises in Akshobhya blue, plaster columns echoing Kathmandu's pagoda temples. High above, Kibu Sky Lounge completes the ascent—the Himalayan skyline, the final, unrepeatable artwork.
