Atelier Tymovski transformed a 20 sq m spare bedroom in a Victorian Shepherd’s Bush home into a self-contained boutique rental studio with its own entrance, kitchenette, shower room and patio. Parisian Haussmann references meet the colour, pattern and craft of Marrakech: chevron oak, palm-print wallpaper, linen drapery, burnished brass, tadelakt-style walls and a jewel-box green bathroom. Designed on a sub-£50,000 budget, the project combines restored period character, acoustic and thermal upgrades, clever storage and a bespoke sofa bed to create a high-performing, design-led alternative to a hotel suite.
