Zophia Scarlett Interiors was commissioned to design and specify the interior architecture, soft furnishings and accessories for The Retreat; a bedroom suite transformation within a five bedroom detached Hertfordshire residence. 

Led by designer Zophia Cleghorn, the project reimagined an underwhelming principal bedroom that previously felt cold and lacking in atmosphere. 

The scheme introduces refined zoning, subtly separating sleeping, dressing and bathing functions to enhance flow and intimacy. A softened, tonal palette replaces cooler greys, layered with tactile finishes and bespoke detailing. The result is a deeply restorative retreat that balances architectural clarity with a hotel like sense of ease.
